Southern Olympian League Archive - Season 2000/01

The 2000/01 season was the worst for forty years in terms of weather, with triple the average rainfall causing chaos through amateur football. In the SOL all cup competitions with the exception of the Veterans Cup were abandoned, although the league programmes were completed to the point that all league titles were decided.
